What We Do

Englewood First Responders (EFR) is an organization driven to serve the community of Englewood in Chicago, IL through providing community support and outreach services. EFR strives to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, youth and cherished seniors. EFR works with at-risk youth and young adults to help diminish violence and disturbances in the community as well as allowing those at-risk a chance to give back to the community through their daily community walk throughs, weekly community cleanups, and annual Back to School, Christmas, and Thanksgiving giveaways. EFR also gathers the means to provide clothing, food, household items and monetary assistance for seniors, expecting mothers,  and all other individuals in need. With providing job opportunities, mentoring, after school and weekend programs for young men and women, EFR has opened the doors for enhancing and expanding the lives and contributions of the future generation through any means necessary.

We come together as a whole and a family to make a change and a difference in the Englewood community as we strive towards peace. We are looking to diminsh the gun violence in our community, we want to provide hope and freedom for everyone.

We are making a vow today to make a difference! We are here to be and give that hope that things can get better! We are here to ensure that everyone experiences that freedom that the law speaks of! We are here to make and ensure all receive Justice and Peace in our society!
